There Be

There Be

A Poem by Firestar~Queen of Darkness

There be…..

There be a king size bed standing within a room.

A heart is stirring within the shadows of flickering flames.

A soul is longing to dare passion with arms of steel.

Eyes searching within glowing fire light for another body to embrace it.

There be no man to crown as my king.

There be no reason to dare love.

There be a dream of knight of shining armor,

But some dreams are never real.

Can this lonely heart dare to believe she is someone princess waiting for him to come too her upon the soaring winds of true love?

There be no prince after you kiss the frog.

There be no prince charming to kiss you from your hellish nightmare?

Why do story tell of wonder, when nothing is true to about it?

So why must dreams be just false illusion upon my mind?

There be only me lost within a dream without her

King

Prince

And her knight in shining armor, who bring all her dreams into reality.

There be…

Just me waiting alone by the flickering flames of desire within a romantic notion that love is more than just a fading dream.
