InspirationsA Poem by Forgotten
What word and rhythm can I speak,
The elusive words that drip from my tongue, Constantly planning their escape from my mind, What presence and power locks them so, Keeps them captive to my thought, Who inspires me to be, Something more than I've previously been? In no particular order should I scrawl the names of those, Jack I shall start, The man kind of heart, His poetry a beacon of accomplishment and love, Cares for others before himself, A noble man indeed, For there are almost but nought left to find, In this world of corrupted minds, Yet there you stand above it all, On your mountain above the clouds, You let your words encompass your soul, A voyage many have enjoy so far. Now who is next I wonder, I wonder so indeed, This woman is an inspiration, To my soul that used to seethe, Illustrious is her work, A pinnacle of pride itself, Yet compassion lines her poetry in it's essence so divine, How can you describe poetry when the words don't seem to extist, For the beauty of your quill speaks louder than the pen, You care for all around you, Though the times have been rough, You're an inspiration Miss Frieda, To me and to others I'm sure. I think I could fit another, Into this poem of thanks and praise, A certain Miss Robbie has set many a heart ablaze, Her saucy steamy poetry is something to adore, Yet kindness hides between the words, The words that tempt and tease, She's created visual poetry for all of us to see, That carnal lust portraying upon her canvass, I've written with you once, Something I am looking forward to again, Your set a little spark in me, The poet that had hidden away. You've all been an inspiration, With that I spout no lie, A praise to each and all of you, Keep the soul and heart alive, With every word you speak, Let the poetry lead your lives.
