Incorruptible Beauty

Incorruptible Beauty

Is physical beauty better than inner beauty?

Incorruptible Beauty

inner beauty is reflected in the soul.

and this beauty is truly ageless,

untarnished gold that never turns old.

sadly it is ignored and forsaken.

taken for granted and excused,

unaccepted as a worldwide society norm,

an underestimated positive trait,

youthful beauty forever awaits.

not viewed as the norm,

physical beauty competes and

ultimately wins the race with

inner beauty.

in deep contrast physical beauty

elevates high stress and pressure,

and utilizes drastic measure.

inner beauty is put on a back burner

flame, unlearned, inner beauty's moans

and yearns.

neglected, struggling quietly for exposure,

innocent and curious,

a gentle whisper fading away,

utterly a sin and great shame.

is there a culprit to blame?

could physical beauty be the name?

physical beauty is always on display,

selfish desires, of an ongoing parade,

playing an awful game, brainwashed,

and misleadingly insane.

a perfect body attainment,

bent on masquerading.

constantly altering natural image,

repeated a dynamic change,

reckless testing and rearranging,

dying trying to find the perfect outer body,

the mind is blind-sided and clouded.

inner beauty is soundness of mind.

deep within the chambers of a person's

insides,

a beautiful individual dwells there

and beauty is beyond compare,

a beauty that is sensible with modesty,

pure gold that exerts sincere honesty,

a quiet and mild-spirited vine,

free from prickly vanity, uprooted effects,

those twisted branches of fad and fashion,

outer beauty rejects and is

entangled and intertwined by society's

pointed pine spikes,

dictating the acceptable body, appearance,

an unnatural look forsook.

inner beauty has an incorruptible adornment

never white-washed thoughts, deceitful or vain.

secret person of the heart has an eternal fire burning,

inner beauty stands alone and imparts care, love and

compassion through unselfish action.

inner beauty speaks in so much volume,

if only we would listen.

it breaks down misconceptions that mainstream

society uses to recklessly influence.

physical beauty is viewed as objects of other's

desires, out of control fire to be someone else,

amplified by the so called norm promoted by

entertainment, magazine, commercial ads,

and the internet, teasing the senses of the importance

of body image, convincing everyone that personal

appearance is the only way to rule.

merchants sell an over-all image without flaw or blemish.

to the public and they love it.

"if you've got it flaunt it," many do attest.

this statement is full of mass drama, trauma

and can devastate, stress the mind into

an unsafe divide, ambition may decline.

wake up, cut through all the red tape,

false dreams and escape.

take courage, appreciate inner beauty,

this beauty is true and has no allusion

or life-threatening confusion.

honestly, there is no full proof cosmetic surgery,

instant cure, remedy or magic pill in a bottle,

to correct physical discrepancies and problems.

instead of putting trust in physical beauty,

be proud of who you are and

allow inner beauty to shine, refine and define.

it is this secret person inside who will decide,

getting to know our inner beauty confide.

nevertheless, many refuse to accept and

duly regret the empty promises of physical beauty

leads and means prominence eventually,

striving in vain, continue pursuing

what are they doing?

if it were possible to succeed by way of physical

beauty, we as human beings will still not be

happy or satisfied, always finding some other

defects we want to hide.

realistically, pressure from a worldwide society,

in regards to physical beauty.

cause undue irritation and overwhelming stress,

resulting in negative emotional consequence.

low self-esteem, hightened anxiety, depression,

eating disorders just to name a few.

in the desperate attempt to reach an unreachable

goal of perfect physical beauty to unfold.

is beauty only skin deep? Does physical beauty

make one complete?

is physical beauty necessary for success?

inner beauty is reflected in the soul,

waiting to be shown.

incorruptible beauty is our inner beauty,

indisputable.

I guess you could say, that today's mainstream media is all about material crap, and sex, and whatever the people consider attractive ... umm... yes, to the majority physical things matter the most, and everything that is inside, cannot be measured, sold, or used for manipulation is "worthless " ... well that's basically it. well penned.
