Drowning in love.

Sometimes the best way to deal with a hurt heart is to write down your feelings...

Should I stay or should I go…

Can she see, it hurts my soul?

Why is it that, I can’t let go…

Is the love gone? I just don’t know…

 

I am here, yet she can’t see…

Confused I am, in pain I be.

I need her warmth, in this vast sea.

Why does she, do this to me?

 

I still have Hope to be one, one day.

I hang from this rope and continue to pray.

 

Should I stay or just let go…

Can she see? She hurts my soul.

Why won’t I just let go!

Love is not gone within me. This I know!

 

I stand here, with her ignoring me.

Lost and hurt, confused makes we.

Drowning I sink, in this emotional sea.

Why does she do nothing to save...

To save... we.

 

To late. Cold... empty and silent…

 

Alone in darkness…

I understand perfectly. Sometimes it helps to mp everything out in your mind so you can see it. That what a lot of my poetry is for me...

But as for your poem I think it captured that critical moment when we're trying to figure out exactly what's going on and then suddenly the pieces come together and you realize there isn't anything else you can do. It's tough to have to ride out the end of a bad break up, and I think this poem captured the beginning of that journey.

I really like this i can feel the struggle within you ....so many of us have been here. You love and care for someone and at what point to you say enough is enough. Its so hard sometimes to let go and say Im done. Great Job of articulating the exact feelings.
