The Messenger

The Messenger

A Poem by Aero
"

I wrote this, not them

"
Aggression runs deep,
suppressed to impress
Stomach turns, the heart burn
I've created second identity
please kill the messenger

Something must take its place
drowning in alcohol
my poor neurons
no control, to me they're gone
Needles lead the way

Constant shaking,
numbly aching
letting go and giving in
my identity changing
please kill the messenger

The door remains open
come on in, your all welcome
put to sleep,
wake me when its over
Ill clean up eventually

Stuck in autopilot
Its too crowded in here
i need too take a walk
"Ill be back soon,
trust me"

but, i forgot my keys...
somebody please,
let me back in

This is a very deep poem. Especially the last stanza where you wrote but, I forgot my keys...somebody please, let me back in. It sends a chill up someones spine because it shows how this person got lost along the way, and can't find the way back in even if they tried. Very well written!!
