Her Day

Her Day

A Story by Gul
"

A promise to be with always.

"
"I have a fear,
as I am losing my soul,
like my heart is giving up on pumping" - She panicked in his arms.

He kissed and wrapped her tightly into his arm.
"No worries, I am with you" He consoled.

She smiled and said thank you.
She closed her eyes
rest her into him.

Dawn glittered them up,
he woke up with smiley eyes.

Leaned to kiss her for morning bright
but he cried, after seeing her lifeless body.

All of sudden, dawn turned into dusk and the smiley eyes
shaped in sad.

So sad. Such a deeply moving poem of promises and love beyond death. The dark and the light. Kudos!

Indeed, it is.
This is such a sad, heartbreaking story, Gul. Yet the only consolation is that she died with her love. How reassuring that must be. A powerful write!
