The Dwellers------prologue

We were all sitting there.  In the glooming darkness.  There were only tiki torches for light.  None dared to speak.  All you could hear were the bugs; then the bull frogs.  He was comoing.  We all knew.  The bugs and the frogs communicated with him.  There were telling him were were there.

We all glanced at each other.  Speaking with our eyes.  Tyler, the strongest of us all, looked at all of us.  First me, then Andrew, then finally Elizabeth; Lizzy for short.  HIs eyes told us that we needed to get back to the house.  To safetly.  But, the question is, are we safe there?
