I loved how you were awkward

When I first met you.

I loved how you made little things seem important

Even though they aren't.

I loved how you told me you needed me

When it was clear that you didn't at all.

I loved how you called me beautiful every morning

Even though we both know I'm not.

I loved the way you'd flick your hair

When it was long enough to fall in your face.

Best of all

I loved the way you loved me.

You loved me so right.

You loved me through it all.

Thick and thin.

No matter what.

I loved the way you loved me more

When I did something wrong

Or teased you endlessly.

Most importantly of all

I loved you for you

And you always said that was what counted.

Great emotion of love and emotion in this poem. Love is give and take. Sometime we must change positions to keep a love alive and well. I like the last line. Made the strong poem complete. A outstanding poem.
