Will You?

Will You?

A Poem by Billy Sullivant

Can an eye behold me?
I am swallowed by my sin.
Teach me a new recovery
to survive a broken heart.

I am a cloud in mist,
never to be dug into.
Yeah, I'm a dull candle,
burning within your heart.

Let me create a portal.
Transform to a new human.
Don't judge a newborn angel.
They will face temptation.

Help me... I'm sinking
into the empty hole.
Leave the forgotten bleeding.
Bleed a puddle and drown.

Will you remember?
Will you erase me?
Will you stay?
Will you?
WILL you?
WILL YOU?
