Rock Star

Rock Star

A Poem by JC Fox

I walk through life in a shadowy cloud.
My mind is blank and the crowd is loud.

The people stop and stare, but when I look nothing is there.
The numbness in my brain won’t stop.

The ride was never ending its not lonely at the top.
Performing the routine night after night.

No sleep no love what the hell happened to my life?
Bright lights, smoke, the fans in the crowd.

Do you love me?
Do you hate me?
I’m a musician should I be proud?

Very nice! I'm sure a lot of famous people feel this way! Would explain a lot of alcohol and drug abuse. Nice poem!
