I AM THE KING OF RHYME

 I am the self styled king of rhyme

Every day I commit the habitual crime

Even during my hectic official schedule I find time

I think I am at my poetic prime

When I am at my emotional best

I try to quench my literary thirst

Though I worship many a Hindu god

I consider Jesus our savior and Lord

Though Goddess Lakshmi is my presiding Deity

I regard Allah as our all merciful All mighty

Religion is just a way of our social life

It should not cause among us any strife

May this Diwali fill every home with divine light!

Make all our lives astonishingly bright

Though it is a festival of the East

May it spread its resplendent light far into the west

Dear Ms Lydia, thank you very much for your comment.In fact, I am staunch Hindu who has religious tolerance.I neither go to church nor the mosque.
