Tattered Hearts

Tattered Hearts

A Poem by Just Plain Me

Bruised and Broken,
Twisted and Torn...
that’s how he left her heart.
no thought as to how she hurt.

Shattered and Splintered
Ragged and Ripped...
that’s how his heart felt.
not being able to tell her the truth.

Comforted and Confident
Accomplished and Achieved...
his parents looked on, side by side.
not caring they had torn out his heart.

Forbidden Forever
Never to be seen in Bloom
that boy and that girl always wondered,
what could've happened to their tattered hearts.

This is really painful and so dark, love the way you did the alliteration of B, S,C and F in the first lines of every stanza.
Great work, overall :)

WoW ... I Loved It !!!
Loved how you especially described the parents ...

"Comforted and Confident
Accomplished and Achieved...
his parents looked on, side by side.
not caring they had torn out his heart."

A Great Piece Indeed !!!
