When we bought you

You'd be a balm

To the grief we went through

Clumsy wee kitten

Full of cheek and charm

Trying to save you from danger

Save you from harm

I love it best

when you're curled on my knee

purring so softly

Just you and me

What joy you bring

If only you knew

Now we'd be lost

without the wonder of you
