childhood gone in a whirl

not needed so much

Brought up secure

parents that

were given to me

Time goes so fast

nothing bad or good last

I don't know why

Poignantly true my friend – before we know it, there is less life in front of us then we had behind us. In 1877 Pierre Janet proposed that time seemed to speed up as we aged, because each new experience was a smaller fraction of a very natural measuring stick - the length of our own lives. This expressive, touchingly penned piece says it all really – oh to be young again!

Thank you Phil, this came to me this morning in a flurry, just lost my precious mother-in-law and it hit home how fast live goes - it feels like yesterday I was introduced to her and we had twenty years of fun, laughter and great friendship, I thought we'd have her a bit longer but hey ho that's life for you - it's made me not sweat the small stuff and live life as happily as possible - :)
