Desperate for Love

Oh but in his eyes I saw desperation
Eyes which sought love
Hands that bore feeling
Arms that breached wide

And I swear I let him feel me
In all of my desperation
I allowed him to love me
And so my heart grew fonder
Without hesitation, I fell into the pit
