Arch Angel Gabriel's, "Lucifer"

Arch Angel Gabriel's, "Lucifer"

A Poem by KeeD
"

Turn your volume to a mellow low and enjoy the background music for this poem~ purely fictional.

"

Kneel before thee brother

Ridicule intent of our father?

Fallen wings of fiery dust

Walk the earth from dawn till dusk

Recidivist rise you must

Dreams of paradise shall combust

Wings subtracted along with divinity

Detestable mortal manifestation

Flame that once burnt an angelic glow

Now devises demonic fumes

Camouflage amongst innocent souls

Forging an army to accomplish goals

Will seek refuge in sanctified place

Never revealing veracious face

Serpents tongue as it twists and twirls

Creating rifts between father and his world

Deceptive illusionist making believe

What the eyes and the mind desire to see

The children of father, brothers and sisters of ours

Mortal they may be but the soul divine

Implanted in them is a piece of his heart

Trust in these words and you  shall never tear humanity apart

When trumpets are summoned

You acquire your seven

We shall set forth down from heaven

Putting an end to your future betrayal

Michael and I shall lead at the start as

Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Selaphine and Jehudiel

Implant tridents and psalms that pierce your heart

Brother approbate the mortals as tantamount counterparts

Eye to eye with the gale of the storm

Seeking all means to end this cold war

Power and dominance that's all you will seek

The purity inside you will start to grow weak

Lucifer awaken from deepened sleep

A vision perhaps, a nightmare brother?

Acknowledge the mortals and love one another

For the wings are in place

Heaven is yet calm

Don't refuse fathers love fear awakening the swarm

Fallen angels will rise alongside you as they sing

Oh Lucifer, Our Father, Satan my king.

miss ya' ty for the awesome review
What a beautiful heavily weighted poem, full of passion, compassion, and (still a lot of truth), for you describe the differences of religion, and views here compared to Lucifer very good. I danced on the piano, because there you have chosen a beautiful piece, for I am touched by that piece, and love it by years... You expire deeper with words and rhythm, than many I read here.
Although it is a fictional poem, I taste a lot of your rich personality through it...
This in all positive matter, for I adore your style, and passion for "really saying something" with what you write, and knowing about what you write. Well well done, can't say how happy I am to read you again!

This is the epitome of a "story" poem. I settled in with a nice cup of tea and read this with great interest. I absolutely love all of the imagery that you used, and your phrasing was extraordinary. I like the way that you cast your own light on the war of angels and the creation of Lucifer. What makes this unique is the way that shed your own light on something that is highly controversial in a lot of ways. Well done.

I love story poems...nice change from the metaphysical.
An excellent story; is it based on a myth? I know something about the war between the angels...lucifer's fall... (though there is some contradiction in the Bible about that).

thank you for your kind review Marie :)
This is pretty cool, love that you have experimented with mythological context and that this has a sort of shakesphereian feel to it's style! Lovely piece

Your music choices that accompany your works lately have been really spot on. I like the vivid imagery in this, but I couldn't really get completely into the meter. May just be me though.
