At One With The Holy Spirit

This Christian poem aims to clarify the benefits of sincere Christian faith, in terms of how an individual is strengthened and empowered to live a fuller life.

When at one with the Holy Spirit,

commit your whole life to it,

no longer any need to fear,

worldly problems which once seemed so near,

 

Where there was darkness,

is now light,

even in the night,

your soul shines bright,

 

The burden of life is now less,

now that your soul has been blessed,

you are a vessel for the body of Christ,

with a new purpose in life,

 

No longer an obsession with the material,

now such trinkets seem menial,

praise the Lord night and day,

He will always be with you,

come what may.
