someone who cares

She sits alone in the corner,

while everyone parties.

She turns up her music,

to drown out the laughter.

She cries to herself,

hoping nobody notices.

She has no one to talk to,

nobody likes her.

She's bullied at school.

On the edge of a cliff,

thinking to herself,

there's only one way down.

She continues to write,

trying to ease her pain.

Wanting to go home,

but also wanting to stay.

Her only friend,

has fur and four legs,

can't speak back,

but understands everything.

She's not stick thin,

so nobody cares.

They'd never miss her,

if she ran away.

She wants to die,

thinks there's nothing to live for.

If she could only see,

there's so much more.

She curls up in the corner,

with her pen and notebook.

Talking to her furry friend,

tears rolling down her face.

One day she'll disappear.

Never looking back,

wishing she had someone,

that could understand.

She's in her new apartment,

she's still all alone.

She curls up at night,

beside her only friend.

Dreams of better days,

of not being alone.

All she wants is someone,

to give her love too.

All she wants is someone who cares

I think a lot of people can relate to this from time to time, it is very sad. I know that I have felt this way several times, but deep down I do know there are those who care for me and I know that one day I will find those great friends I always wanted, I just need to not be so afraid of stepping outside of my comfort zone and to face my fears.
