Misty Water Coloured Memories

Misty Water Coloured Memories

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

The love we had...

I crave within my heart

The sweetest of misty memories

Your laughter and the tenderness we shared

At times the fingers of shattered tears

Scattered pictures that slowly made...

            Empty spaces

            Lonely places

Your candy coated kiss's

The honeyed nectar of your laugh

Makes my soul ache with desire for you

           To hold me

           Love me

With unwritten law

If it could be so I'd burst forth

With the passionate womanness in me

Which longs to be set free

          Now...

         The dust remains

         My lust remains

A faded memory of a long time ago

      Of you and me

A love that was never meant to be

         And...

            The way we were

This goes to the core, this expresses what most are afraid to say. I wonderfully deep and exploring probing of the hidden inner feelings that many hide behind a false sense of bravado and sham cheerfulness.

This poem is not about me, ort my loss; it's written in generalities,,,for all those who've felt lost, lost a love, wished for a love, etc.

You must be longing for someone cause you can't fake these powerful emotions you are expressing.
