The Broken Heart of the Living Dead

The Broken Heart of the Living Dead

A Poem by Secret Lullaby

Forever laying in the ground.

Always lost and never found.

Sourrounded by the memories of pain,

That could never be washed away by the rain.

Forgotten by the one I loved.

My heart was broken, pushed, and shoved.

I will never forget the day you lied.

Because that was the day my heart had died.

Now I'm laying in the ground.

Always lost and never found.

Sourrounded by so much dred.

The broken heart of the living dead.

How do you write such beautiful stuff that brings up such horrid memories for me? Please tell me I'd love to know.

You've conveyed the most heartfelt emotional pain in vivid detail. Great job here, I love the written structure, tone, and overall theme as well. :)
