I Feel Like A Monster

This helped me deal with the times me and my mother have. When we fight, for NO reason. It helps me remember, I do need her. So do you. You gotta have somebody.

Crying tears,

So many tears.

This feeling cuts,

Cuts like shears.

I feel like a monster.

Tearing things apart.

Knowing inside

I have a better heart.

Why can't I show

What I am feeling?

How can they get,

Or understand what I'm dealing.

I can taste it,

Feel it strong.

I'm sorry mother,

I know I was wrong,

Apologize again,

One after another.

Acceptance like this,

Only comes from a mother.

Thank-you so much,

For being there and caring,

I truly need you,

And the smile you are wearing.

I never expected,

Too feel enlightened

Maybe cause I don't,

I only feel frightened.

I'm scared of the fight,

It could kill you all,

You have to be strong,

Make it over that last wall.

I really enjoy this poem. I like how where you end it and start your next sentence. You use the word mother twice close together which perhaps could be changed slightly, buuut that's not really a big deal at all cause the piece still moves really well. :]

Very Nice :) I'm sure many people [ Including myself ] can relate to feeling like this, a monster, at some point. Also, i like the fact that you mention how hard it is to show how your feeling. Often times it's really hard to try and explain it. It would be better if the person could just be you for a second to see.
