I wrote this long ago with the notion that someday I would read it at my wedding...and I did

Touch me at night

hold me at dawn

Moan with passion

stifle a yawn

 

Love me from morning to

night, then morning again

Everything's perfect

from lover to friend

 

From day to day

year to year

From holding hands

to your breath in my ear

 

I'll love you today

I'll love you tomorrow

From laughter and joy

to heartache and sorry

 

You can look up

I'll be hovering near

whenever you want me

I'll be here
