But the funny thing about love is

It can blind you when your not careful

And after weeks of letting the lovely fog of romance set in my eyes

and not seeing anything but you

not feeling anything but you

and how lucky i was

yet how scared i was

You pushed me out of your arms

Threw me out of the castle

and left me in the dirt

Heart broken

shocked and saddened

Crying but only on the inside

because i had to hide

hide the hurt i felt

hide the pain you caused

and put on my happy little mask

so they would all think i was fine

no need to worry about our happy little girl

but heres the real secret

you havent stopped making me fall in love with you

and you havent stopped tearing me a part

and i almost felt whole

you pushed me down
