The Tiger and the Raven

The Tiger and the Raven

A Story by Mip/John K. Brierley
"

Just something from the past.

Rarely is there a bonding of love that shouldn't have been possible.
This is one of those loves.
There in an unlikely place of meeting, a mountain side oasis, a white tiger laid when the raven managed to gain control of his injured wings and land. The tiger was named Boo and helped the raven who called himself Mip.
The raven was intelligent, though strange in some ways and arrogant in others.

The raven was intelligent, though strange in some ways and arrogant in others.
The white tiger was righteous in her ways, always believing the best of the raven.
Though the raven couldn't stop with his tricks. He loved to fly and he liked to flip, to spin, to do a barrel roll, and just endanger his life.
The white tiger always helped the raven heal his injured wing, though it never got quite healed, for he kept flying when he should be resting.
Boo and Mip fell in a love unnatural to each other. For it was impossible for it to be pure for it was...anatomically impossible.
It was a young love but it was still a love.
It grew up into a brother to sisterly love.
But still the raven injured its wings.
And Boo would get upset and tell him to stop his tricks.
He'd promise but then the allure of flying and spinning would bring him back to her.
Thus is this a cycle. It isn't a happy one, and one day it may end. But still the tiger helps the raven fix its wing.
