La belle dame

La belle dame

A Poem by Ana B.
"

ruffling old pages.....

"

A black beauty is dancing

Amongst the cobalt tears…

Those tears demanding

Her affections so fierce…

Her wishes of quartz…

And dreams of aquamarine

Brighter than the stars

With their light pristine…

In her palace of moonshine

The beauty stays untouched

Because it’s hard to define

What have those tears washed…

Is it the light of the laughing stars?

Or the ashes of a dream…

Or maybe the invisible scars

Of a heartbreaking wince…

A lovely, whimsical little write.
This gives the appearance of an elegant lady that I can't help but wonder about. You captured that almost peaceful dream state well. Very fluid and the word choice was well defined. Keep writing like this I may become a fan.
