Stars blanket

Stars blanket

A Poem by Ana B.

In my soul lives a body,

That’s stubbornly hunched.

A willing slave of demagogy

That can’t stand after being punched

By life.

Bitterness is a bitter mask -

My agglutinate knife;

I wish I had more questions to ask

After being punched

By life.

Shadows are dripping

Making ink for my dreams…

In those moments, while fears are sleeping

I paint my world from dazzling figurines.

Where the world is simple

With no walking hollow souls,

Where the gypsy moon shows her dimple…

No metaphorical black holes…

Just music.

Thank you :)
The music, (as always)... Gorgeous and haunting, I stay hunched over to my very soul from the weight of the shadow ink... Seriously, that line, and, in fact, that second verse really shined through... If black tar could shine, heh... A master choice for the atmosphere, and a perfect black-hole of metaphors... Gravitationally penned...

:) I'm happy my words have such an effect, thank you again.
Picture, music.. more than appropriate and, quite extraordinary.

Your words are a contradiction of how to be, how to feel and whatever felt was a kind of travesty.
Perhaps. Life is a killer, kills hopes, dreams, lies, steals, near drowns what was/could be a magic place where pain's merely a word. Perhaps. Read this twice, still not sure.. but .. maybe the raw emotions will always be yours, and, yours agone.

Fine, fine writing.

A real pleasure, always is...
Artwork and words. Perfect and beautiful. I liked the use of the powerful description and the feel of mystery in your words. Hollow soul. Can the soul know peace? Thank you Ana for sharing the amazing poetry.

You are welcome dear Ana.
Expectations unmet... changes somehow missed... feeling left behind as others moved on and yet you're there again and for you it's changed but still the same... the world dreams on while we danse to our music.

I ran out of ink years ago. Now I sip alcohol and pee the bed. It's a different kind of wet dream.

Your poem is beautiful as usual. Thanks for sharing.
