Oh wow. The ending is a total kicker, and I love things I can't predict. Fantastic job here of making the reader seriously think, which seems to be such a rarity anymore. It took me a few minutes to sit and digest the writing to fully understand it, but instant gratification isn't ever what it's cracked up to be.

This is some fantastic writing. The imagry is gorgeous and spot on, and I think you're discussing something very poingant. Yay for writing that SPEAKS to the soul, and not just to a lingering sense of ennui.

This is LOVE.
