Aedes aegypti

I am targeted and followed
Respite, I get not for a second,
From the vilest of God's creations.
In a roomful of donor potentials,
Me it always pricks.
The pain of its pinch
Lasts for days, for to its salivation
I have no toleration.
Scientists have proven,
The insignificant vampire does favor,
Certain types of human flavors,
As its preferred meals!
I wish it would take me off from its menu
My animal loving heart hates,
Its parasite hoarding guts.

I live in Saudi a yellow fever and malaria haven before big oil brought ways of controlling and eradicating mosquito. But they stopped spraying of late; then I got bit; then I got sick for a while, and I asked myself, could it be? No. But I know the feeling of being one of their beloved commodities. There in Brazil I know you are worried about Zika too. Take care, friend. This one captures the nuisance well.

Oh' you poor thing, I know just how you must feel as the nasty little devils have a thing for my blood too...I even downloaded an app onto my phone that is said to cause some kind of vibration to keep them away....Does it work.....I dont think so....Take care.....Nice write..............N

Thank you my dearest friend for understanding the pain . Only thing that really works against these little devils is a good mosquito repellent... I have been using it for so long, the smell of it now makes me nauseous. Thank you .uma abraço

You would have thought by now, humans would be immune to everything.
Have you ever noticed the smaller the animal, the deadlier it is?
Assuming we don't kill ourselves off. Got a feeling parasites will do it for us.
