Redefining Nature

Redefining Nature

A Poem by Kelly Scheppers

Redefining Nature

One by one

they fall

with diaphanous clarity,

leaving no footprints

as they go

redefining nature

as we know.

with no two alike, it's all new as you tell. always impressed with how much can be said with a few well chosen words. learned a new word too. picture is "purr"fect as are the words. snowing outside my window now as i read. the lightness and purity of this takes me back to childhood. so cute, innocent and lovely!

"redefining nature"....seems we see it changing before our eyes at times....if we choose to see it. Beautifully written. Your words are always well chosen and filled with imagery. Lydi**

i feel allegory here...the cat in the window pads silently leaving no footprints...and we as humans...we rise we fall and we wonder, (especially those of us who write poetry)

if our words will redefine emotions---and whether we will leave any prints...
