Oh Beautiful Wonder

I love to watch
As geese roam in the field
Neath granite grey skies
To but nature they yield.

Into the trees
With their naked limbs high
Reaching for the clouds
Floating in the sky.

On ev'ry branch
Holding one bird or two
Who sing songs of spring
Summoning dew.

Those diamond fey
Who sleep neatly on leaves
Wings splayed on petals
So eager to please.

I hear a call
Of an owl of night
Forest's security, even I
Fear his might.

I love to watch
The flight of the moon
As it shines on wild geese
So far after noon.

This seems very Romantic in content/scheme/devices...u even pull out the ellision of ev'ry..."to but nature they yield" is very strained syntax and makes me stumble a bit. And I was just wondering why you personify the forrest as male (which is interesting, almost German) while you don't personify the moon (labeling it "it")? don't know - kinda curious...I would've like for u to end it with night as oppose to noon, to fit more the Romantic Mode, but that's just me;)

There is such a rich, living beauty you share with us here. This dreams and drifts around us, as birds fly in the light of the moon... Loved the feeling this brought about... wonderful peace!

And just with the last one, a lot has changed. Like, pretty much everything. I'm really sorry I've been gone for so long. I did get caught up with that "very consuming project" which turned into a l.. more..
