I wrote this for a contest

CONCERNED

Writing was her passion,

Because only when she writes,

Her feelings she could POUR down without any fear,

Cruel was the world who thought she was mean,

SEEMINGLY she was a kind hearted girl,

A well known author she wanted to become,

At first it was only a FAR-FETCHED DREAM,

At a broader view, the world she could SKETCH,

She understood life is not a COMPETITION with others,

Her heart was not a ROCK,

Seeing at the pathetic conditions of the world her heart melted,

She started giving CHARITY.

She noticed that the people were needy,

Were poor enough that they cannot afford to eat,

She thought about the rich who were greedy,

Who ate CAKE and drank BURGUNDY.
