I miss you each day
And each night
In every cloud
In every night sky
And as hard as I try
I can't help but cry
I search for you
in every face
I hurt for you
in every ache
Feathers capture
my thoughts of you
They spill over
Inside my dreams
If only they could soften
my silent screams
I know how blessed I have been
To have had you in my life
a heart full of memories
But this pain just isn't right
I've lost before
I've fallen hard
I know pain
I recognise sadness is every extreme
But nothing compares to the pain
Of waking from my dreams x
