Poem: Wisdom

Poem: Wisdom

A Poem by naznaz
"

A short poem to the wisest Fools, who warn us well.

"

Wisdom

Might it be

that you’re a Fool?

A clever idiot,

weaving wool

in the eyes of simpletons

-but a certain few,

who see your charade

as something new

when laced with smut

or pranks a few;

a divination

in your clues.

You are an enigma!

And deft alright,

for you keep it all

well out of sight.

Your sagest words

may go unheard

there gravitas-

much disliked

and spurned.

I think that this is rather clever. I liked the words you used. "Enigma", "gravitas", "sagest". All good choices.
