Double Edged Spear

I wrote this piece a few months back.

It ignites
And despite this constant fight
It makes me wonder
If this is what's under
If this is what plunders
In the back of my mind
Is this what I'll find?
This undying spite
Thinking I have the right
It's self-frightening
This loathing
This bitter laughing
This b***h constantly talking
Always stalking
Judging and mocking
Making me take a step back
Always regress
Never make progress
I've finding this self pity
This self doubt
God, why can't you find your way out?
It's unfair
For me to be paired
With this double edged spear
One side if pierced straight through by heart
Has me thrown in a cart
Full of fear and despair
How in the hell did it get there?
No time to think of an answer
On the brink of disaster
Need to digress
From this pest
I'll focus on the life ride
Look on the bright side
I'm fighting back this fear
This double edged spear
