Gardening Grace

Gardening Grace

A Poem by PANDORA
"

Written for someone who has to read it about her garden and how it changed her life for a t.v. show.

"
It comes in quiet stillness,
this newborn clarity,
a new-found peace.

Heavenly rain springs,
washing the sins of my past clean
so a new path can be traveled.

Earth flowing through my hands.
Sunlight smiling on my face.
Summer beads of sweat on my brow.

This plant kingdom is my sanctuary.
It hears all my confessions
yet never does it judge.

Hope springs in my heart
as life grows all around me.
A collaboration between God and I.

I have found a new way to live.
I have found a new way to love.
I have found a new way to exist.

Yesterday I planted honesty.
Today I will cultivate responsibility.
Tomorrow I will harvest integrity.
