Something i thought about on the bus. Talks about the issues facing Muslims in western society and encourages change. However the poem can be applied to anyone who is oppressed

 

Who are you to say I am wrong?

What do you mean by socialization?

Where do I begin?

When do I stop?

Why do you fear me?

 

How do you break the cycle of oppression?

 

With one step at a time.
