Tim Bergling

Tim Bergling

A Story by Kathryn Smith

Dear Tim,
I am so tired.
Even without knowing you, there is not a doubt in my mind we were twin flames.
Both sensitive souls.
Both holding hearts too large for this world.
An outlook on life far wiser than our ages.
I am tired because I've found as I've grown older that kindness is rare.
Genuineness is hard to find.
I'm tired of all the backstabbers.

The girls who speak poorly of others.
The grown adults who make others feel small.
I'm tired of boys who play with my heart.
I'm tired of the political circuses.
I'm tired of women thinking they're less.
Thinking they are not safe.
I'm tired of society.
I'm tired of the way money makes people blind.
I'm tired Tim.
So tired.
I would love to be in the heavens with you.
But it is not yet my time.
I must keep shining on.
It is what the universe needs.
