Just like you

Read it and tell me what you perceive of it. **this isn't about me, i just see this a lot in people and it makes me chuckle and wonder why**

"I want to be just like you
i want to be all of the shades of you
I want to be just like you
I forsake my own thoughts and my own looks
I want to be just like you
i try and try secretly to become you
I want to be just like you
as we talk and talk i slowly see
That all you really want
Is to be just like me"


People, do not try to be anybody else than who you are.
You have great beauty even if you do not see it
You have powerful thoughts even if you do wish to think it
You have powerful artistic abilities even if you do not know it
all you have to do is open your mind and wonder
all you have to do is Imagine and push your thoughts outwards and never stop using your Imagination
you are who you are so be who you are and not somebody else.

Lol, I spent so much time the past two years of my life trying to be like everybody else. But this year I realized that I was just wasting my time.

This poem shows that you don't have to change who you are so that people will like you; there's always a friend who loves you just the way you are. I like this, great job. :)
