Half Mast

Half Mast

A Poem by Phillip J Clayton

Boldly justifying convictions.
The self becomes disgusted;
Justice for all, kill for peace!
One world, one hate!

Segregated, a price must be paid;
Hearts as black as they can...
Behold the glory of man.
Freedom to the gutless sheep,
death to those that refuse.

I don't belong here;
A dark infernal place,
I wish not to face it anymore.

Hide in this shame,
fight for a dying world.
Hate what we have become,
await the end of all life...

Angels and demons side by side,
fighting for the heads that be;
Watching steeples fall.
Priests and rabbis burn,
Their daughters nailed to the cross.

Worship the filth that rapes and hugs you,
vote for the pigs that lead and feed you,
One nation, one world under hypocrisy.

About
In the professional space, I am almost a diety... I say that with the greatest of humility. In my personal life I am frail and a primitive man... Self-actualization is not all it's cracked up to be. .. more..
