Angels in Bells

Angels in Bells

A Poem by Melinda McQueen

Angels in Bells

Strolling along the way,

Spreading Christmas care,

The angels spend the day

Going here and there.

Flying up high,

A feat to compel.

Coming by and by,

Angels in bells.

A joyful little tune

Found in bells of every kind.

They come in times true,

To minister and guide.

Pouring heavenly blessings

In hearts to dwell.

Love and joy in each ring,

Angels in bells.

A hope in time,

A warm embrace when you’re sad.

A gentle touch where there is no rhyme,

A sound of beauty to be had.

So, if you hear a jingle or song

And from where it comes you cannot tell,

It just may be your own

Angels in bells.

Melinda, Angels and bells do go hand-in-hand in the magically reverent pageant of Christmas. And just how real are these angels? It depends upon the degree of faith invested in their believability. Your degree of faith is never in question, especially when penning such joyful poems such as this one. Very nicely done! take care...dan

"Cause Every time you hear a bell ring an angel gets their Wings".

Well done young one and may the bells ring all around you in joy and happiness this Christmas time of year as we give thanks to our lord as many angels get their wings. Peace out my child.
