About Me

Photography and words are my activities to try and keep an over active mind under control. For the most part my pieces have been short since that's how I'm wired. I would like to write something longer and I have. I am mixing fact with poetic license less say.

You must find your own way in life and following these words can only help:

"Remember that there is only one important time and it is Now. The present moment is the only time over which we have dominion. The most important person is always the person with whom you are, who is right before you, for who knows if you will have dealings with any other person in the future. The most important pursuit is making that person, the one standing at you side, happy, for that alone is the pursuit of life."
— Leo Tolstoy

True vision and skill that I can only strive for:

“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.”
- Michelangelo

How I hope to leave this world:

“To laugh often and much; To win respect of intelligent people and the affection of children. To leave the world a better place. To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.”
—Ralph Waldo

As for reviews the best I can do is tell you if I like it and maybe how it moves me or what feelings it gives me. So if my review is short it is more that I do not feel I can contribute an educated critical view of your work. I am not an English major to be sure.

One final note (On review, you will see this is nowhere near the final note); Read request is off since I found myself reading works I did not like or people that did not reciprocate. You read my work and I read your work.

If you are offended by anything I may say in a review, call me on it. It may not make a difference, but we have not walked in each others shoes. Therefore our visions and expectations can be greatly different.

But all humans should be able to come together as brothers. No matter most any differences. Peace Out. Damn Soap Box!!

My work seems to come together with any random piece of curiosity that hits my processor and I just go with that thought to write. So of course it causes me to remove some pieces once I realize what a pile they might be.

The issue maybe that I saw too many movies and shows when I was younger depicting the "Beat" generation and always there was a coffee house with someone on stage reciting poetry, to an over caffeinated crowd with a lone bongo playing along with the poetry. As I travel through my mind trying to make sense out of my writing, I realize I maybe too late as the time of the "Beat" generation is gone. And it is really hard for me to find a good Bongo player anymore.

BTW. As you read my words I am not for killing, but I am far from being a pacifist, so my romantic words and others are true. I stand my ground and you should too.
