Love Still Conquers All

 

There is nothing deeper

Than an ocean’s love.

It spreads far and wide, steeper and steeper,

Ever refueling, to be enough.

 

Though life tries to get in the way,

It refuses to give up, standing tall.

Reaching the bay,

Love still conquers all.

 

Tiny droplets swimming through,

Forming the courageous of waves…

Until one day it finds you.

Its timing, never late.

 

Though roads are bumpy,

And mountains seem too big to fall…

The ocean currents are ever free.

Love still conquers all.

 

At last, the droplets meet the shore,

Only now, it’s stronger than ever

And deeper than ever before;

Its will, surrendered.

 

It beats, it pries,

Until its answered call.

Meeting every divide…

Love still conquers all.
