The Possession

The Possession

A Poem by Proxy
"

An edited version of an old poem written a long time ago. WARNING- Will be very morbid.

"
I shut my eyes,
and the world turns to darkness
The monster within me lingers here
Its burning presence comes close,
breathing into my ear.

My body feels as if it had caught fire
Burning soon leading to lust
My mind no longer belongs to me
This feeling I am being forced to trust.

The heat soon cools into pure ice
My thirst exceeding,
awaiting bloodshed
What's happening?
I can smell a human that has bled

My lust begins to spill over
I soon hear their blood curdling screams
Receiving flashes of red
This must be a dream

I gain my sight again
Looking back at my destruction,
and the stale blood upon me
This horrific mess is far from reconstruction

My body agains starts to burn
I fall only to see I'm at a priest's feet
Burn after aching burn,
I hiss, growl, moan and groan in defeat

The world once again leaves my eyes
and soon awake to see Him
I gaze as he raises me
and soon tears me limb from limb

I have finally been punished
At last this monster inside is forever rested
