I Wont Apologize

I wont apologize
For my parents
Giving me the love
That most kids don’t get..

I will feel sorry
For the kids
That don’t receive
The love they desperately need..

I wont apologize
For having parents
That give me a home
And a meal every night..

I will feel sorry
For having kids
Out on the streets
And fighting for food..

I wont apologize
For having a family
That loves me
Even on our roughest day..

I will feel sorry
For the people
That have to grow up
Without knowing what love feels like..

I wont apologize
For what my parents
Have done for me
Because they simply don’t deserve it

This poem isnt directly toward anyone at all. Its just I am surrounded by all this people that have parents that just dont care for them.. Then you have me, who has parents that love me.. I wont apologize for having them as my parents. I will feel sorry for those people that were rasied in a broken home.. But My parents deserve so much more than that..

type of poems,, my favorite thing to wrte and read, this world is
full of many different life styles, to recognize that someone else
has a better life than another and feels almost
a guilt, and an understanding for the other
is priceless, it shows beauty, humble hearted,

Great ode to your parents. I love that you praise them, yet at the same time empathize with others who don't have as much as you do. That's what a well balanced human being should be! One's should not have to apologize for their gifts, but to have the awareness that it takes in order not only to appreciate what you have, but to understand that others are suffering, is incredible!
