The Ultimate Sacrifice

Lord,

 

You must know how I feel

When I mourn for my

Firstborn son

On earth you blessed me

With two boys

But you had only One.

 

How lonely too you must have been

Yet you gave Him up to die

So that everyone " including my son

Might live with you on High.

 

I thank You for giving Your Only Son

To free us from death and sin

For through Your Sacrifice of Love

I will see my son again!

When we sit and think about what Jesus had to go through for the sake of all of us, we can't help but love Him. He would have died if you were the only one on this earth! Isn't that wonderful?
