Me

Me

A Poem by Rhiannon Dragonraine

Vast and complicated is the constant state of my life

daughter, mother, friend and military wife

I live by the light of the moon

praying my love will come home soon

though I long to wake with the dawn

at one time; hermit like I lived completely withdrawn

within my own little world

my thoughts, my fantasies and my soul swirled

rearranging and recreating

me, myself and I; consciously changing

But now I have broke free

having learned the lesson of glee

more confident in my being

and I must tell you I find it very freeing

words flow from my pen;

though I struggle every now and then

Beginning to understand the joy of being a woman

causing my soul now to brighten

as at one time this precious quality was frowned upon

No longer am I withdrawn

Patiently and wisely I work my Craft

though I know you may think me daft

To call myself a "Witch"

and proudly accept the title "B***h"

I am cherished most fondly

I love my life, revelling in it gladly

For I am part of the Goddess

though I understand how that statement might make you nervous

Confident and strong

I finally feel as if I belong

At times I can be gentle, feminine and sweet

and I never hang my head in defeat

I do so love my domain

in case you didn't know I am Rhiannon Dragonraine.

rhi, that is magical, and the picture of you set to twilight is absolutely capturing, how you project your
aura in a fantastical way, as truly living by light of the moon in the heart, and that being always, as you
charmingly present your thoughts like an open book in this writing, one can fully feel your emotions
come to life, this poem defines you in alot of ways, its passionately rendered, or should i say surrendered,
lol, i love this poem as well, because it speaks you as an indivisual, and not shy about it, my regards
extend tour your husband in the military, a beautifully written testiment, pure poetry in splendid rhyme
No longer am I withdrawn
Patiently and wisely I work my Craft
though I know you may think me daft

I am cherished most fondly
I love my life, revelling in it gladly
For I am part of the Goddess

You GO, girl ! I know I reviewed this poem before the Great Writing Crash, but I am doing it again, because this poem is the epitome of what I was trying to convey to you in my previous e-mail.

Don't ever change, Rhiannon Dragonraine :-)

I like this piece, it shows confidence in who you are. Although its not about me, it made me feel good. :)
--I do so love my domain
in case you didn't know I am Rhiannon Dragonraine.--This is cool! Real cool.
