Angel and Song

Angel and Song

A Poem by Spencer Barker

As love came,
so did the feather from once play.
As soft as cloud, the angels sing,
a note as quiet, as soft as the prickling of leaves against ground in days they rest.
The occasional breeze,
a break in note,
a beginning of song,
for it is what I long.

i had seen that RiverSided had favorited this piece...and i can see why...not just musical...but whimsically romantic in its brevity and soft imagery.
