sky's feelings

sky's feelings

A Poem by Sahar moonlight
"

Although Winter is my favourite season but this is how i felt the sky

"

A turquoise shining sheet
Studded with shining white pearls so neat
forming shapes of life

A sign of happiness and peace
Staring at its lovely face my heart please
To continue my way without strife

One day I woke up very early
Sad and gloomy appears clearly
Black monsters fight to cover

It was feeling blue and turning grey
When a flash crushed it and split half way
Its good times were over

Lightning beating it continuously
Ripped its soul so cruelly
As thunder scolded it after all

Living that hard and tough time couldn't bare anymore
Its heart was mercilessly tore
Tears gathered in its eyes and began to fall

Everyone was happy with rain
I wondered how happiness was a result of its pain
I turned my head away
Soaked in rain I shared its tears

First of all, I love the gradual change from blue to black, it's a real eye-catcher and goes great with the theme!
It's very interesting how you personify the sky and compare the weather to moods.
Usually metaphors are used the other way round and this change was really refreshing.
Then I really like the contrast between the sky's pain caused by the thunder storm that leads to rain that waters the earth and is welcomed there because it enables the life the clouds in the sky try to mirror when the sky is "happy", by making the sky sad.
In my opinion, it completes the cycle.
Excellent poem!

The description was amazing in this poem. I could feel the emotion and the desire of the writer in the strong description. Weather is a powerful force. No weakness in this outstanding poem.

I love the overall idea, how you express the weather as the sky's feelings, and personify the sky in such a great way. This just brings about a whole new meaning for the sky, and life! Well done!!

Such thoughts behind this poem, expressed so delicately in your very special and lovely words, '(The sky) .. Its heart was mercilessly tore ~ Tears gathered in its eyes and began to fall'

The use of different coloured fonts for the colour of the sky/the weather is an original idea too
