child

child

A Poem by Shannon
"

children hold such innocence

"

Imagine a field of flowers
There are many different colors
Pink, blue, yellow
They’re so beautiful

A child’s laughter just as beautiful
Children hold such innocence
There is no evil in there eyes
Just hope and joy

Very few things can break that innocence
An unfriendly hand twisting
A banging on the child’s door
Lets not forget about war

No one would let a child go through that
Would they?

“Love your child as they love you”

Run along now sweet child
Go play in the fields
I’ll be waiting for you here
Always waiting
