The end of a song

I've had a lot of good times,

 Each spoiled and turned sour, 

Made a lot of friends, 

But lost them within the hour,

 I remember each joke,

 That has long lost it's humor, 

And I remember each laugh, 

That faded into nether 

I guess it's hard to move on,

 When all my good times are gone, 

It's like the climax has happened, 

And it's the end of a song, 

The wind has had it's last breath, 

And death is taking too long, 

It's sad to watch a memory 

Fade into the dawn

And remember, 

That you were invisible all along...

I read your review for my poem, so I came here to read yours. I like the way the lines fit together, and have rhythm. It doesn’t feel forced, it feels like each line of the song leads to the next. The rhymes add a good flow to the song. I think you could take this to a poetry slam, and they’d like it there too. I go to a lot of slams myself, so that’s why I think that. I enjoyed the tune, but remember, your life isn’t over. No matter what your age is, you have a long way to go, and still can follow the path of life and search for goals. Your good! I’ll check out more of your stuff sometime.
